Noni act as an Immune Modulator

Noni works as a immune modulator. Your immune power is your defense system. If it stay active and healthy can keep your body active and healthy. A healthy immune system can build a healthy body. Immune system is composed of immune cells and organs. Among them Cytokines are specific proteins that help in immune function. The cytokines are interleukins, interferon, tumor necrosis factor (TNF). Other immune cells are WBC, macrophages, NK Cells (natural killer cells) etc.

Noni regulate the synthesis of various cytokines like interleukins, interferon, tumor necrosis factor, Nk cells etc. Noni both up regulate and down regulate various cytokines and thus maintain a balance of cytokines. It inhibits the production of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF), which is an endogenous tumor promotor.  The thymus is an important immune organ in the body, which generates T cells, involved in the aging process and cellular immune functions. Noni may enhance immune function by stimulating thymus growth, and thus affecting anti-aging and anticancer activities, and protecting people from other degenerative disease.
